Over the last year or so we’ve seen a real trend in interiors towards sourcing products closer to home, doing more with less and focusing on really special bespoke pieces of furniture that highlight the space and key elements of the interior design.
While we are always guided by and work hand-in-hand with our clients, we’ve long encouraged our long standing client to consider sustainable materials as part of a fit out/interior. Reducing the carbon footprint by sourcing materials and having hand-made pieces designed and made in the UK and Europe makes a huge difference. The quality of products and materials now available locally is outstanding, too.
Miriam Prada says, “Some of the natural materials we’ve used recently have been stunning and we work with some hugely talented local ateliers who produce classical pieces of furniture and quality furnishings.”
